The kitchen is in the memory of Mike Stenbock who was Solid Africa's project manager. It provides a total of 1,500 meals per day; 5,000 meals three times a day to patients in hospitals in Kigali. Their aim is to provide food for needy patients who sometimes come from far places, and can't afford meals. Some don't even have people to take care of them. Most of them are in Ubudehe category 1 and 2.
